Perpinyà

Perpinyà or Perpignan is a city in Europe. If you believe in nations, France and Catalunya are the leading claimants for which one it is in. The government of France claims the name of the city is Perpignan, but the people who live there more usually call it Perpinyà. About 150,000 people live there. Salvador Dalí proclaimed that Perpinyà's railway station was the center of the universe, although some say that this is only a theory.
